Thresholds on key statistics generate an event and notification
when the threshold is exceeded for the configured number
of polling intervals and as long as a re-arm level has
not been reached. This serves to minimize false alarms
and alarm storms – keeping your staff working
on what’s important. WatchTower includes best
practice templates for network interfaces and ports,
Windows servers, UNIX servers, Cisco routers, Oracle
databases, Microsoft Exchange and SQL server and others
with all templates and settings being configurable and
override-able at the device level.
