CITTIO Database Monitor is an add-on module to WatchTower for centrally monitoring database performance, health and business statistics. Database Monitor centrally monitors and alerts on uptime, performance, behavior, table space, response times, SQL query results and other key database metrics across all major databases without requiring agents. Anything that indicates performance degradation, latency, or an impending problem is recognized in an automated fashion. Notifications can then be sent to the appropriate resource based on a fault, exceeded threshold, or business event determined by one or multiple SQL queries. Database Monitor is helpful to Database Administrators who need to monitor and manage multiple critical databases in an automated fashion and want to proactively know about issues before they become serious problems. Database Monitor also feeds WatchTower dashboards to provide a deep “Single Pane of Glass” view into your IT Infrastructure performance and availability.
