At part of its strong operational model, WatchTower comes with an integrated administrator tool set that includes ICMP Ping, a DNS Resolver, SNMP Walk and Enterprise Number Registration.
ICMP Ping
WatchTower’s administrator toolkit includes ICMP Ping that checks a remote host for availability. Ping estimates the round-trip time, records any packet loss, and prints a statistical summary when finished.
DNS Resolver
The toolkit has an integrated DNS resolver that automatically discovers and translates domain names into IP addresses.
SNMP Walk
The included SNMP Walk Utility allows users to browse all available SNMP objects from any SNMP enabled remote agent.
Enterprise Number Registration
WatchTower’s IANA Private Enterprise Number Registry page lists all the SMI Network Management Private Enterprise Codes registered with the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA).
